Dear all,
Tomorrow’s ride I’m classing as a 100 mile + Cotswolds-Severn Vale Odyssey. Did it firstly with my daughter just before COVID.
I’m going to put a different slant on it, not necessarily our usual Speedy Gonzales run-out! So would like to offer it up to those who regularly ride, but have never achieved a cycle ride of this distance….for whatever reasons.
If during the ride you don’t want to or feel you can’t complete the whole distance then there will be ample opportunity to head back to Stroud from any part on the circuit, but then that’s your responsibility…but please let me know.
Meet: Wallbridge Bridge 9.30
Mid morning break: Court Yard Cafe, Sherston
Lunch: Ship Inn, Alveston
Afternoon: Refreshments stop, probably Berkeley..ice cream etc!
Weather: Looking ideal, a cooler N breeze, maybe the odd shower.
Route: I plan to get most of the hilly bits (Cotswolds) out of the way first, therefore a flattish run for home on the Severn Vale.
