[svccridesupdate] Sunday 1st November Ride to Last Hill Tea and Cakes of the Year
Good Morning Everyone
This Sunday is the last Tea and Cakes of the year at Hill. In line with the change to the first Sunday ride of the month, we are having one stop at Hill, hoping to be there for the lunchtime slot from 12pm – 1pm. The route is 43 miles / 70km in total with about 1600ft / 500m of climbing and we should be back in Stroud by about 3pm. Don’t forget that Hill Teas and Cakes is cash only!
Meet 9:30am at Wallbridge Lock. Then Ryeford, Stanley Downton, Frocester, Coaley, Dursley, Stinchcombe, Wick, Damery, Stone, Rockhampton and Hill after about 23 miles. We will return through Berkeley, Slimbridge, Coaley (where I will leave you) and then back through Frocester, Leonard Stanley and your preferred route home. The weather is meant to be dry but cloudy and maybe a bit misty in the morning with a maximum temperature of about 10C. Definitely not as windy as last Sunday! Lights and bright clothing are a good idea just in case in the mist.
