Good morning all,
Tomorrow’s longer ride will take us to Wales with not one but two crossings of the iconic Severn Bridge.
The route is shamelessly pinched from Peter Chaffer, who led the ride in July 2025.
We will start at 9.00 am, yes, 9.00 am, from the George Inn at Frocester to give us a flying start.
After that the route is:
Cam Berkeley Oldbury Old Severn Bridge Chepstow, with coffee at Nellie’s Gaerllwyd Devauden Trellech, with lunch at the Lion Inn Back to Chepstow and over the bridge again Thornbury Berkeley Cambridge Frocester
Total from Frocester and back of 75 miles (138 km) and just under 4,000 feet (1,213 metres) of elevation. Most of you will ride a bit further.
