Afternoon all, 

The website has received a makeover and is available for use again, if you notice anything odd or have any comments then please let me know and thank you to those who responded to my initial request for comments. The makeover consisted of:

1. The menu system has been structured with the use of sub-menus to make it more useful to members and potential new members
2. The colour scheme has been retained, it was generally liked
3. The About our Club page has been revised to provide more information for potential new members
4. The Membership page has been added to provide information for potential new members
5. The What's Happening page has been added to bring together the Rides List and the Events page
6. The Communications page has been added to explain how we use email, WhatsApp, our website and Ride with GPS
7. Notwithstanding GDPR, club members are still very keen on photos. During 2024 I was remiss in updating them with their captions due to other commitments but this year I will have more time so please always send a caption with any photos giving either the location or the reason for the photo. Most club photographers send their photos via WhatsApp but I will be a bit selective for the website to avoid too many similar photos. Also please ensure you always have the permission of the subjects in the photos and if you spot any old pre-GDPR photos on the website and would like them to be removed then please contact the committee.
8. The Committee and Policies page combines these two subjects together
9. The Information for Club Members brings together several existing pages of information and reinstates some key points for ride leaders
10. The Club History page will be published fairly soon – Malcolm and Clare are working on it
