[svccridesupdate] FW: Brighter days, big thanks & summer plans – your quarterly update

Afternoon everyone (yet another rainy one!).

As you will all know, we are a member group of Cycling UK. I am forwarding below a Cycling UK newsletter which is specifically for and about Member Groups. Cycling UK is not able to mail this directly to all SVCC members and has instead sent it to me (as Secretary of our group). I will aim to forward future editions to you all as well. Happy reading!

Malcolm and I have had some discussions with Cycling UK about getting more of a connection between member groups and Cycling UK and it seems that the newsletter below is one initiative that they have taken to address this point.

I would also like to take this opportunity to let you know that Sarah Mitchell (CEO of Cycling UK) has said that she is planning to attend our AGM (Saturday 18th April) and so we will probably hear more from her then about Cycling UK’s plans for member groups.

The Newsletter talks about spring being just around the corner – let’s hope so!
