[svccridesupdate] Cycle Camping Friday 16th – Saturday 17th August

The SVCC Cycle Camping trip is fast approaching and the weather forecast at the moment is looking fairly good – although I realise it could all change by then. 

If there is anyone who suddenly has an urge to join us, just let either Paul or me know – it's not too late!

Alternatively you might like to join us for the ride to the campsite and then head off home or meet us on Saturday morning at the Green Dragon, Cowley and cycle back with us. 

If you would like to join the on-road ride, we are meeting at Dudbridge at 12:30pm on Friday 16th. We will stop at the Dragonfly Cafe, Oaksey and expect to reach the Green Dragon at Cowley by about half past 4 after 35 miles. You can then make your own way home – the route below is another 12 miles back to Stroud. Here's a link to the route: Cowley Camping On Road version 2 

Another possibility would be to meet us at the Green Dragon at Cowley on Saturday morning at about 10am for a coffee and then to cycle back with us. We will be fairly heavily laden and we will be going at a slow pace, so do be patient with us.
