[svccridesupdate] ride 23 Aug 9am

Morning all,
Tomorrow’s ride is 58 miles (93km) and medium/hard grade to Cleeve Hill. It’s a bit more demanding than the usual Sunday rides but a challenge now and again is good and tomorrow is a lovely day for cycling – warm, sunny, light winds, good light.
Details are below but after lunch there is a bonus 30 minutes free time when you can put your feet up, leg-it up to the Cleeve Hill summit or join me for a short walk to two disused quarry pits in the escarpment. Then you will know where the rocks come from for all those pretty cottages. Also it offers a superb view of the Malverns.
Time will be moving along by the time we leave Cleeve Hill and I have gone for a quick (non pretty) route back to get us to Stroud in decent time. Hope to see some of you tomorrow. If you intend to join along the way then please let me know.
