[svccridesupdate] Avening Road Closure

FYI, yesterday afternoon the Avening Road was closed, just next to Spring Mills and is due to be closed until the end of June. However, as I was able to use the footpath (which was barriered off from the work on the road). On the web it says that an alternative footpath route will be provided, so it looks like you will be able to cycle that way.

Alternatively you may want to consider Pensile Road to Ball Green and then down to Longfords Mill (joining back at the traffic lights). This is 1/2mile longer and climbs 120ft.
