[svccridesupdate] Attention ride leaders!
This message is directed at our team of ride leaders.
Following the AGM (when I stepped into Clare’s shoes as Club Secretary), we have been addressing some IT issues in order to get me in a position to take over the function or recording details of rides. This has now been done and so I can now relieve Clare of her duties in this regard (with thanks to Clare for all her years of doing this).
*So, from now on, please can you send the names of riders on your rides by email using this email address: stroudvalleyscc@gmail.com <stroudvalleyscc@gmail.com>*
It would be helpful also if your email were to confirm the destination of your ride and the distance of the ride in miles (although I can obviously get this from the rides list and from the email you send ahead of each ride).
For most of you this probably represents no change to what you have been doing in the past (the only difference is that I am now set up to send and receive emails on the Club Gmail account). But for anyone who may have been sending details of riders using Clare’s personal email address, please now switch to this club email address (which should also be used in preference to my own personal email).
