[svccridesupdate] Longer Ride on Thursday to Gotherington
Good afternoon all,
Tomorrow’s longer ride will be to Gotherington.
We will start at 9.00 am from Wallbridge to make the best use of the reduced daylight hours.
The route will take in:
Painswick Old Road Brimpsfield (now that the road has been reopened) Withington Turkdean Notgrove for coffee at the Nuttery at Notgrove Hub Guiting Power Winchcombe Gotherington for lunch at the Shutters Pub Stoke Orchard Upton St Leonard Stonehouse

The route, which has been purloined from Peter Chaffer (they say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery), is 68 miles (109 km) long with 3,090 feet (942 metres) of elevation. Most of the climbing is in the first half of the ride.
Please bring your best lights. Although I am hoping we can get home before it is pitch black, at this time of year we definitely need them.

Weather? Probably mild but I’ll be taking a rain jacket just in case.
