As Tom has mentioned, I will now be taking on Tue 20 Oct vacant ride.
Provisional plan: Location: Roman Villa , Chedworth – NT Start point: Wallbridge Start time: 11am . We may start a little earlier, that’s if there is any interest in doing a tour of this unique historical site? Distance: Circa circa 42 miles
I still need to discuss this with the cafe at CRV

As Paul mentioned via WhatsApp last week, I have taken his ride leader slot for tomorrow and he is filling the previously vacant slot next Tuesday.
Please note that the start time tomorrow will be the normal October onwards time of 11am at Dudbridge.
We will be heading to Miserden for lunch in the Carpenter’s Arms (via Avening – Star Hill – Cherington – Coates – Daneway). After lunch there will be a scenic return to Stroud via Cranham Common and Sheepscombe and onwards via Bull’s Cross, from where you will be able to use either the Wick Street route to Stroud (shown on the RWGPS route below) or go via Slad, as you prefer (and I will head for home from Bull’s Cross).
The ride is 32 miles (51.5km) with 2,055 feet of ascent (626m). We will cover approx. 21 miles pre-lunch and 11 miles back to Stroud after lunch.

If you plan to join along the route, please could you let me know (in case I need to adapt what I have said to the pub about likely numbers for lunch).
The current forecast suggests that dampness tomorrow morning should have dried up before 11am, leaving us with a dry and increasingly sunny remainder of the day 🤞.
