[svccridesupdate] Tomorrow’s Ride to Dursley

Good morning everyone,

Ian Cooper isn’t available to lead tomorrow’s ride so I have agreed to cover for him.
We will set off from the Dudbridge Cycle Track at 11.00 am and we will head for Nailsworth, Avening, Nag’s Head, Cherington, Chavenage, Kingscote, Uley then on to the Bank Cafe at Dursley.
After leaving the cafe we will go to Cam, Slimbridge, Coaley, Frocester, Leonard Stanley then back to Stroud.
I rode the route yesterday and it is a good one.
There were no problems with flood water but some sections are quite muddy and you will definitely need to clean your bike when you get home!
It is 31.5 miles (50.9 km) long with 1,581 feet (482 metres) of climbing.
It looks as if we will have a wet start but with any luck the rain will ease off later in the ride.
I hope to see some of you tomorrow.
