[svccridesupdate] SVCC Treasure Hunt* (TH)
Dear all,
This is the latest that I sent out on WhatsApp, I realised that not everyone is on it.
So here is a quick update:
At the moment it appears that Sat 20 Sep is nosing ahead 🐴. The other option is Sat 14 Sep. Although we could do with a few more signing up!
I’ve got a venue in mind. Starting and finishing at Painswick Rococo Gardens. They are happy with this. I’ve also discussed meals/snacks. Am also looking at a voucher prize for the winning pair. What I’m proposing, we meet there at 12 noon for a light lunch. I’ll get the menus to you asp.
Have a provisional route in mind. As I said, starting/finishing at PRG. It will take in Painswick, Sheepcombe Cranham and Edge. I’ve still got to carry out a physical recce/clues/ check points etc.
Total distance circa 14.70 miles. A lot of climbing though, at 1671 ft, but taking in spectacular and I think some unfamiliar country side.
Remember the story of the tortoise and the hare: Slow and steady wins the prize 🏆.
Will send out future info in due course. Those who have signed up…great👍try and persuade others to join you.
Yours,
Paul Sent from my iPhone
