[svccridesupdate] SVCC Treasure Hunt

Morning all

What a great Cycling Treasure Hunt we had yesterday! Even the occasional light drizzle didn't dampen our enthusiasm.
It was quite a challenging route taking in Sapperton, Siccaridge Woods, Edgeworth, Miserden, Bull Banks, the Duntisbournes and Daglingworth before returning to the Crown at Frampton Mansell. (Some of us even made an unexpected visit to Bisley!) There were also some quite challenging clues. Well done to all those who took part!

Congratulations to Anne and Daphne who got all the answers right and won the prize! They also get the additional prize of organising next year's Treasure Hunt.
Also a special mention to Paul and Tom who completed the route in the fastest time.
A big thank you to Viv and Jon for all their hard work in organising the event and devising the route and the clues.  One of the clues was about a mysterious stone on Tunley Lane. It was a milestone – 7 miles to Cirencester. If you want to find out more about it, go to https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6680240
If you have any photos of the event that you are happy to share, send them to this email address and they can go on the website and our Facebook page.
