Good Morning Everyone
Tomorrow’s ride is about 56 miles / 90 km to Oaksey and Sherston with 770m of climbing. The weather is looking much better tomorrow – mainly dry and sunny with light winds and about 19 C.
I was just checking that the Dragonfly Cafe was open tomorrow and I found out that for groups more than 6, even for take away, they now need at least 24 hours notice so I have an alternative stop if needed at the Cotswold Sculpture Park which adds a couple of miles to the route.
Meet 9:30am at Wallbridge Lock. Then Butterow Hill, Minchinhampton, Cherington, Long Newnton, Crudwell and Oaksey with a stop at the Dragonfly Cafe (or the Cotswold Sculpture Park if there are more than 6 of us!) after 18 / 20 miles.
We will then continue through Minety, Milbourne, Malmesbury, Foxley and Sherston with a stop at the Courtyard Cafe after another 18 miles.
We will then return through Leighterton and Kingscote, where I will leave you, and you can choose your preferred route home.
