Hi Everyone
Tomorrow’s ride is about 66 miles / 106km with 2390 ft / 730m of climbing to Severn Beach. The weather should thankfully be a bit cooler than last week but still warm and sunny.
Meet 9:30am at Wallbridge Lock. Then: Ebley Ryeford Stanley Downton Frocester Coaley Slimbridge Berkeley Hill – with a stop at Route 41, a cafe I’ve not visited before between Hill and Oldbury-on-Severn. Oldbury-on-Severn Littleton-upon-Severn Ingst Severn Beach – with a stop at Shirley’s Pilning Olveston Alveston Itchington Tytherington Cromhall Tortworth Stinchcombe (where I will leave you) Cam Coaley Frocester and your preferred route home.
Here is the route: ridewithgps.com/routes/52127569 I am going to edit it later to avoid the pot holes and gravel on Rectory Lane between Tytherington and Cromhall but have a power cut at the moment and it’s not as easy on my phone! (No power since about 9pm yesterday – National Grid are currently digging up the road round the corner.)
