[svccridesupdate] Summer Social and Dave Mundy Ride on Saturday 28th June
Good Morning Only 1 week to go to the Stonehouse Wheelers and Stroud Valleys Summer Social and looking forward to seeing many of you there. It is now too late to book if you haven’t already booked.
However, the Dave Mundy Memorial Ride is happening that morning and everyone is welcome to attend. Meet at the Old Railway Station at Dudbridge at 9:15am. We will then head along the cycle track to Stonehouse, Standish, Haresfield, along Naas Lane to Hardwicke, Longney, Epney, Saul (with a brief coffee stop at The Stables), Whitminster and back to Stonehouse. Just under 22 miles and a fairly flat route. Here is a link to the route: Dave Mundy Ride 2025 <ridewithgps.com/routes/50990234> Feel free to join en route, just send a text to 07772888265 or reply to this email so we know to look out for you.
Also, the Stonehouse Wheelers have made a kind offer: – for those on the memorial ride (or anyone else) who have not signed up to the buffet or the social, tea/coffee and homemade cake will be available at a £3 donation – cash on the day, but please let Susie (scdson@hotmail.co.uk ) know by Tuesday 24th June if you would like to do this as she needs to know how many cakes to bake!
