Thank you for the details for Richard’s funeral and thanks for organising the Carol service yesterday which was, in spite of the cold church, a well enjoyed event in the social calendar. I hope you enjoy your well earned trip to the southern hemisphere where it will be warm and sunny.

Good evening to you allElaine, Richard Venning’s wife, was at St Matthew’s Church Hall earlier today before the Carol Service and she passed on the details for his funeral. It is to take place on Thursday 22nd December at St Matthew’s at 2pm and all are welcome. She also suggested that people wear club kit and bring their bikes if possible.There will also be a Thanksgiving and Celebration Service on January 21st in memory of Richard – more details will follow.Richard was also remembered at the Carol Service today in an address and prayer by Revd.
