Hi Caroline et al,

Am going to pull the plug on today’s Pickleball. Problems with not enough bats and now booking a court at the Leisure Centre is now an issues 😞.

Will send out details on tomorrow’s proposed ride. Trying to organise something different and newish, is not easy. As most pubs do not do a light lunch.

These can be purchased online, not sure you can purchase bats from a  high street sports shop.

Hope u had a v good Xmas?

Great that you and G are interested in playing.

Just a couple of things:

– I need to confirm that my friend Nick, who I normally play with can provide the bats and balls.

-Also I need to check court availability.

– I’m happy to book the court, as an ‘old git’ 😂 I can get them at a reduced rate. But I would appreciate each individual who turns up to give me £1, Hope that is ok? Of course much will depend on numbers attending and courts booked. 

Please hang fire about Saturday, until I can confirm the above.

Good morning everyone, Just a reminder.

Reference that strange named game…Pickleball🥴.

I’ve got one, possibly two people joining us today, 4pm at Stroud Leisure Centre.

Please come along if you are interested, just to watch or give it a go.

Might set it up as a regular thing (not to replace cycling😂) if we get enough interest, it’s really great fun and easy to pickup.

No cost (for this session) any you have nothing to lose!
