Have had a couple of emails, asking if ‘the ride was on’?

….definitely! I haven’t done a recce though 🥴! but the roads are dry as we haven’t had any rain, that said for general safety can we consider:

– For whatever reason if there is water on the road then there could be ice

– Also frozen mud

– With this in mind, best not to cycle so close, reaction time etc. 

– Other Rd users. 

On busy roads stay in small groups, 6 max

– Certainly ok to cycle side by side. But go into single file if other vehicles decide to overtake.

– When stopped, particularly as a large group, can we try and get off the road and not interfere with other road users.

Ah! I’ve said enough, let’s have a good days cycle🚴‍♂️.

Revisiting a ride we should have done in Jan.

Tomorrows 38 mile ride to The Old Royal Ship (lunch) Luckington. 

Meet: DCT @ 11 pm

Route: More or less as per RWGPS.

Frocester (The Hill) fruit pastilles guaranteed at the top!!) mostly gentle undulation after that.
