[svccridesupdate] Pickleball Update

I’ve sent this out on SVCC WhatsApp, but realise that not everyone is on it.
With my social secretary’s hat on. Just a quick up-date on Pickleball, as recently joined SVCC members may consider getting involved.
Painswick Tennis Club now have two pickleball courts marked out. I was there yesterday, really nice playing outdoors in the sun. Sessions: Mon morning 10-12 am and Wed 7 – 9 pm. The latter will change once we get into the winter months, as yet I don’t know when🤔. The cost is £60, I paid £50 as a late joiner. I think that’s annually. Great value if u play regularly.
Am conscious that our 5 pm Sat sessions at SLC has somewhat gone into abeyance, certainly for me as most Saturdays I’ve been involved with Scouts. Hopefully we can pick this up again in early Autumn. Please speak to Will N, Jon C, Liz Cowan or myself if you are interested in joining the Painswick Pickleball or going onto the Pickleball WhatsApp group. It’s a very easy game to pick up, especially if you have played tennis before.
