Just a few updates on upcoming events. 

Treasure Hunt – We have decided to hold the postponed Treasure Hunt on a Tuesday as one of the regular Tuesday rides. The provisional date is Tuesday 29th August meeting at the Crown at Frampton Mansell at 2ish for a 2:30pm start. We will confirm the date soon and more details to follow. All welcome.

Mallorca in October – We did not have enough people interested to make it worthwhile organising a club visit to Mallorca. However Steve Hobbs has been in contact with Audrey Clayton from Mallorca Wheels and I have a copy of all the information about booking and the 22% discount if you book by 31st July. If you would like me to share this information with you so you can organise it yourself, just send me an email. 

We will see if there is more interest for a Mallorca visit in May 2024. 

Over the Edge Sportive – If anyone fancies a bit of a challenge, there is a small group of us taking part in a 100 mile Sportive on July 30th. It starts and finishes in Wotton-under-edge and costs £25.

If you would like to join us, go to https://www.wottonlions.org/cycle/ for more information and to sign up. Then we can meet at the start and ride together. There are other distances available and registration is available until 29th July.  

Don't forget there is also an easy, introductory club ride on July 30th led by John Thatcher starting at 11am at Dudbridge for free!
