[svccridesupdate] Annual Donation

Hello everyone

Last year we changed the way we collected money to cover some of our costs such as the website. We used to collect 20p from riders on every ride but, with Covid and the decline in the use of cash, we decided to change to asking for a voluntary annual donation of £10. Last year we collected about £350 in this way and we have decided to do it the same way again this year. 

I would like to remind you all that this is a voluntary contribution and that no rider will be excluded from any rides if they choose not to donate. £10 is the suggested donation for the year but you can donate less if you would like to. 

If you are going to donate, there are 3 ways to do it: 

1. Using internet banking, bank details as follows:  HSBC Stroud  Stroud Valleys Cycling Club sort code: 40 17 53, a/c no 31474561
2. Send a cheque payable to Stroud Valleys Cycling Club to Chris Padmore, 6 Fieldways, Forest Green, Nailsworth, GL6 0DY
3. Cash – give to Chris on a ride or drop it off at his house
