[svccridesupdate] The role of Chair of the committee

Dear Member,
As you know, I took over the role of Chair of the committee from Malcolm Carruthers at the AGM in April for a maximum of three years.
If you are not currently a member of the committee but you are potentially interested in taking over from me as Chair your committee agrees that it would be very helpful for you to first become a member so that you can understand how the committee works before making a decision about standing to be Chair.
The committee normally meets three or four times a year for a couple of hours in the evening.
The workload is not heavy and you would play a full part in helping our club to flourish and serve the needs of our members.
And if you are not interested in the role of Chair but you would like to join the committee or know a bit more about what is involved we would love to hear from you.
