Good evening,
As the nights lengthen and frosts arrive you know that Christmas is just around the corner.
I can let you have some news about the Carol Service, which is approaching rapidly and will take place in just over two weeks time, on Sunday 7th December.
Full details were included in my email of 14th November.
I am delighted to tell you that we have been fortunate to secure the services of Christopher Boodle to play the organ at the service.
Christopher studied music at Oxford University and is a very accomplished musician – have a look at his website at sudpark.co.uk
We are now finalising the Order of Service, which I will circulate to you as soon as it is complete.
If you plan to attend the service (don’t forget that the usual voluntary contribution of £5 towards the cost of hiring the hall and the provision of the buffet lunch has been waived this year) and you haven’t already confirmed your attendance, please let me know by Friday 28th November.
