[svccridesupdate] Sunday Ride to Tetbury and Yate

Hi everyone

The ride on Sunday 5th March is to Tetbury and Yate and is about 54 miles and quite hilly with nearly 850m of climbing – at least it might help to keep us warm. The weather continues to be fairly cold, although the wind is set to move round to the north west, and there is a possibility of some light rain. We will see how it goes and we can always make the ride a bit shorter if needed.
Meet 9:30am at the Lock Keepers at Wallbridge. Then down the A46 to Nailsworth, Avening, Tetbury with a stop at the Whistle Stop Cafe after about 11 miles.  Then Leighterton, Didmarton, Hawkesbury Upton, Horton, Chipping Sodbury and lunch at the Vintage Birdcage Cakery in Yate after about 28 miles.
We will then return by Yate Common, Wickwar, Kingswood, North Nibley, Stinchcombe, Cam, Coaley, Frocester and your preferred route home. Here's a link to the route: Tetbury and Yate
Feel free to ride just as far as the coffee stop or, if you want to join us somewhere en route, please let me know.
Hope to see some of you on Sunday.
