Good Morning Everyone
Tomorrow’s ride is about 50 miles with 700m of climbing to Oaksey and Malmesbury.
Meet 9:30am at Wallbridge Lock. Then Butterow Hill, Minchinhampton, Avening, Long Newnton, Crudwell, Eastcourt and Oaksey with a stop at the Dragonfly Cafe after 17 miles. Then Minety, Garsdon, Milbourne and Malmesbury with a lunch stop at the Jackdaw Cafe after another 13 miles. We will then return through Shipton Moyne, Westonbirt and Kingscote. I will leave you there and you can choose your preferred route home – through Nailsworth or via Selsley or whatever other way takes your fancy! Oaksey and Malmesbury <ridewithgps.com/routes/53750900>
The weather forecast is for some light rain but fairly mild and only a light breeze. This is my first bike ride of 2026 so I will be going at a gentle pace.
