[svccridesupdate] Sunday 15th February Ride to Berkeley and Milbury Heath
Good Morning Everyone
What a glorious sunny day today – perfect for a bike ride once the threat of ice has passed!
However, the forecast for tomorrow’s ride is cloudy and dull with occasional light rain but I still hope to see some of you for a 50 mile / 80km ride with about 560m of climbing.
Meet at 9:30am at Wallbridge Lock and then Ebley, Ryeford, Stanley Downton, Frocester, Coaley, Slimbridge and Berkeley with a stop at the Tea Rooms after about 16 miles. Then Rockhampton, Hill, Oldbury-on-Severn, Thornbury and Milbury Heath with a lunch stop at Dobbies Garden Centre after another 14 miles. We will return through Cromhall, Tortworth and Stinchcombe – where I will head off home – and then the route goes back through Cam, Coaley and Frocester. I haven’t checked the route for flooding, so there may have to be some changes… all part of the fun!
