Dear all,
This is a cycle ride to the War Memorial, on the Promenade, Cheltenham. It is particularly poignant as we commemorate the eightieth year (1945) of VE & VJ Day.
Meet: Wallbridge 09.00
Route: Please refer to RWGPS. From Stroud it will be a round trip of about 47 miles. I think and hope you will find the route very varied and interesting.

Mid morning break: Edward Wilson’s Art Gallery & Museum.
Lunch: The Boston Tea Party Cafe (Not USA!)
Additional:
As we’re having refreshments in the Edward Wilson Museum, there will be the opportunity to visit some of the archives which relates to Capt Scott’s Antarctic expeditions. Tragically the whole party perished in 1912 on their return from the S Pole. Details on link.
Terra Nova Expedition

This is also an arts and crafty museums, some maybe interested in this ?
Weather: Showery, a little cooler of late.
Clothing: Think about an extra layer, as there will be some hanging around at the war memorial.
Lights: Should be a consideration for this time of the year.
Please feel free to join us en route, but just give me a nod and wink if you decide to depart early.
Yours,
Paul
