[svccridesupdate] Cycling UK Strategy 2024-2029
I am proposing to send this email to Sarah Mitchell, CEO
Malcolm
DRAFT EMAIL TO CYCLING UK CHIEF EXECUTIVE.
Dear Sarah,
I hope this email reaches you successfully. I am writing as the Chairman of a Member Group that was established under CTC in 1943 representing all the good things and benefits of cycling for a long time. I have been the Chairman for 15 years supporting the aims and objectives of CTC and Cycling UK and have seen many changes, the biggest being the change to a Charity. Recently there has been a perception from both me and our Committee that the aims and Objectives of Cycling UK appear to distance Member Groups instead of including them.
With this in mind, our Committee have suggested that we should meet with Cycling UK to discuss a way forward to restoring inclusion the of Member groups and aligning them with Cycling UK’s Strategy and your suggestions for how we make this happen would be most welcome.
Yours sincerely Malcolm Carruthers Chairman, Stroud Valleys Cycling Club
