[svccridesupdate] Carol Service and Spare Christmas Meal Place
Good Afternoon Everyone
The Carol Service was a great success on Sunday and we had a good gathering of cyclists from many of the local clubs. Some of them had battled through rain and wind and were looking a bit buffeted and bedraggled but cheerful nonetheless – not to mention a few from SVCC who had camped out overnight!
Thank you to all those who helped set up and clear up afterwards, who helped with serving hot drinks and food and washed up and wiped up afterwards.
Also, a big thank you to those who provided food for all those hungry cyclists. We would really like you to claim your expenses. We have money set aside in our Club bank account for events like this that promote getting together with other local cyclists. Please let either me or Dave Hassall know how much and, if possible, give us a receipt too.
Finally, we have a spare Christmas Meal place that has become available due to a cancellation. If you would like to make use of it, please reply to this email by *Friday 12th December* at the latest and the full amount needs to be paid by the same date. I have attached the menu – 2 courses – £21.99 and 3 courses £26.99.
