Dear Members,
Tomorrow’s longer ride will be to Hillesley, following the route Ian Cooper devised in December 2023.
The route is here: ridewithgps.com/routes/45086031 It is approximately 60 miles (95 km) long with 2,894 feet (882 metres) of climbing.
We will start at Wallbridge at 9.30 am and go to:
Nailsworth Cherington Crudwell Malmesbury, where we will have coffee at Jackdaw’s Foxley Norton Grittleton Hawkesbury Hillesley, where we will have lunch at the Fleece Inn Kingswood Nibley Stinchcombe Frocester
You are welcome to join us en route but it will be helpful if you can let us know where you will wait so that we can look out for you.
It looks as if we may have a dry day before the arrival of Storm Austen later on Thursday.
This is the final Thursday ride before the clocks go back so let’s make the most of it!
