[svccridesupdate] Easter Sunday Ride to Hill and Stinchcombe for Tea and Cakes and Castle Combe on Sunday April 12th

Good Morning Everyone
Hill Teas and Cakes are back for 2026, so we will be visiting this Sunday. Don’t forget, they only take cash.
The ride is about 48 miles / 78km with just under 500m of climbing.
Meet at Wallbridge Lock at 9:30am. Then Ebley, Ryeford, the Stanleys, Frocester, Coaley, Cambridge, Slimbridge, Purton, Berkeley, Hill after about 22 miles – in good time for the lunchtime slot 12pm – 1pm. We will then continue through Oldbury-on-Severn, Lower Morton, Rockhampton, Stone, Damery, Wick and Stinchcombe. If needed we will stop at the Leaf and Ground hut for further refreshment after another 16 miles. I will head off home from there but the route continues back to Stroud through Cam, Coaley and Frocester. I have made a change to my original planned route to take in the lane next to the Little Avon between Stone and Damery which is just about to burst out with wild garlic and bluebells. Hope to see some of you there.
Also I would like to give everyone advance warning of the annual Castle Combe Cyclist Church Service on Sunday 12th April. I will be leading a ride starting from Stroud of about 57 miles but there is an option to meet and leave the ride in Sherston, which makes it only 23 miles. More details and links to the routes to follow.
