Some of you may be aware that I suffered an encounter with hypothermia on a club ride last month.

Whilst most of you will hopefully never encounter this phenomenon whilst cycling or engaging in any other outdoor activity I thought it would be helpful to raise awareness of the subject in case you or anyone you are accompanying on a ride starts to exhibit the symptoms of this dangerous condition.
