[svccridesupdate] Off Road Ride on Saturday 25th.
This Saturdays Off Road Ride will start from the Nailsworth end of the Cycle Track by the Fire Station at 11 Oclock. Limited car parking available nearby.
The route will be, Wood Lane, Shipton’s Grave Lane, Hazel Wood. Avening. Roundabout Lane, Nags Head. Cherington. Then either Aston Farm or Black Covert depending on the Pheasant shoot! Aston Down. Crackstone. Minchinhampton. Down the W and or the Ladder into Nailsworth.
This ride is suitable for all Mountain Bikes and all levels of competence. Slow easy pace.
There will rocks, puddles, mud and overhanging vegetation. But not too much!
12.5 miles. 1,000 ft of climbing. 2 hrs.+ Coffee stop if I can find somewhere suitable. Best to bring your own refreshments.
Helmets mandatory of course. Eye protection, gloves and good footwear strongly recommended.
Please forgive the ramble. This is my first post. Still learning the protocols and etiquettes.
