Coronavirus Risk Assessment

To ensure that the club complies with current guidelines from the UK government and Cycling UK the following risk assessment should be read and followed by all club riders:

Consider how shelter can be obtained in wet or colder weather and if this involves moving inside and is allowed then no more than the current government limit of riders can sit together
Contracting or spreading Coronavirus due to lack of social distancing when stopped at café, take away, pub or shopParticipants in ride, staff at refreshment venue and general publicRiders carry face covering and follow regulations of venue or shop including completion of Track and Trace records if required. Whenever possible riders sit outside for refreshment in groups of no more than the current government limit and maintain distance of 1m+. Consider how shelter can be obtained in wet or colder weather and if this involves moving inside and is allowed then no more than the current government limit of riders can sit together
Contracting or spreading Coronavirus because someone displays Coronavirus symptoms during a ride or within 14 days of a rideParticipants in ride, staff at refreshment venue and general publicRide leader agrees with rider best way for rider to cease participation in activity and return home; rider arranges COVID test; ride leader has sent details of all participants in ride to committee email address and details are kept for 21 days in case of need for Track and Trace; ride leader has contact details of any refreshment venues
